Depending on the type of machinery operated and the product to be stored inside the bag, a variety of filling options are available. Tops may not be necessary for products of low value and not subject to moisture damage. On the other hand, the duffel top still provides easy access but ensures integrity of the contents. The top, with a draw cord permits air flow but still confines the product, and a cone top allows for extra filling for those materials which settle in time. Filling systems, (including spouts) can be attached to different accessories for full customization.
Discharge
Choosing the proper discharge option saves the end user both time and money and improves product handling efficiency. Many customers choose not to reuse their bags, for these customers a flat bottom which is slit to release the material is probably the most economical option. For those who prefer some reusability, a variety of discharge options are available. Many spout options can be produced to match equipment and hygiene requirements. The covers over the tied-off spout protect products from contamination. A full-bottom discharge is also available.

Lifting Options
Maneuverability of these heavy bags is extremely important. Many different options are available to suite the diverse requirements for different sizes. Self-standing loops are handy for unassisted forklift pick-up and for moving very tall bags. Hood, four-loop and sleeve lifts are specifically designed for use with forklifts. With the attachment of additional loops to the existing four, a hook can pick up the bags. One-loop and two loop bags are suitable for pick-up by either crane or forklift.

Accessories -
A perimeter band (sewn around the top edge) will give extra strength to loops on lifting. Self-standing loops can be easily attached to lifting equipment and can also covered to protect them from abrasion. Various kinds of locks and ties for the discharge permit opening of the bags from a distance. For fine powder products, coated fabrics and several seam options are available. Based on the fineness of the contents, one of the various sift-proof methods will prevent leakage.
