Neo Corp bags “Top Exporter” award for the year 2008-09.
All India Flat Tape Manufacturers’ Association (AIFTMA) , Bangalore, felicitates Neo Corp International Ltd with “Top Exporter” Award for export performance in the year 2008-09.
The award was presented by the Hon. Minister for Corporate Affairs & Minority Affairs I/C, Govt of India, Mr. Salman Khurshid, in the award presentation ceremony during 34th AGM of AIFTMA held at Jaipur on 31st October,2009.
Neo Corp features at 46th number out of Top 500 manufacturing companies in a survey conducted by the publication Industry 2.0.
The company has been awarded the status of recognized Export House by the Govt. of India on the grounds of export performance in the year 1994-95.
The company successfully launched the value added product i.e. Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC), and Raschel Bags in the year 1996 and was also successful in penetrating Overseas Market for the FIBC and Raschel Bags.
The company’s share of the total woven sack export market during 94-95 was around 14%. The company also bagged the award for the second best exporter for the year 1994-95 by the plastic & linoleum's export promotion council sponsored by the Government of India.
The company bagged the Best Exporters award for the year 1997-98 conferred by the All India Flat Tape Manufacturer's Association in the 'Woven Sack' Category.
The Company has a networth of Rs. 212 million. The profitability of the company for the year 1997-98 was Rs. 11 million upon a gross turnover of Rs. 455 million
Neo Corp was conferred an award for the Best HR Practices, jointly by
Pithampur Personnel Fraternity and National Safety Council Action Centre,
Indore.
There were various categories of awards, viz. Accident Free Working, Low
Absenteeism, Employee-friendly Initiatives ..etc, the jury consisted of
governing body of the said organisations and senior government authorities from Industrial Health & safety department; and the criteria for selection
was the consistent performance of past few years. The awards were
conferred to the winners in respective categories in a day long event that
included seminar on Management & Spirituality, discussions on current
topics and open house, on Tuesday, 23rd September,2008, at Bridge Stone
India, where eminent corporate figures were present.
